Instruction is Precious

“A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that has it: where it turns, it prospers.” Pr. 17:8

In another translation, the first part is directly translated as “instruction” being precious. I was finding that gift does not translate that way. But stone does! (He is our cornerstone)
Stone in the hebrew, translates as a “building” stone.
How precious is the gift of instruction in the way of building stones…and to him that it is precious and applies it, it prospers…Another verse to contend with on this topic…..1Pe 2:7  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
Is he this precious stone to us? A stone of instruction. Hence, why Mary found it so easy to sit at His feet…:)

  1. Growing up, the Corner Stoned was Disallowed by the builders of my life; though I may not grieve the Holy Spirit and condemn my family for they knew nothing of the Lord to builder what would have been right in the eyes of the Lord.
While looking back, and going forward challenged with much that remains to carry forward, I am hard pressed to prayer… To pray that my family would see the Work that Jesus has done in me. Not only but, also that those whom I would be around would also see and come to Know that precious stone.
The Life that Christ has Graciously Poured out through Agony is one not without much discipline, neither without much to consider in most every moment; bitter sweet is His grace, as we live out the Grace through His mercy, in the midst of the chaos that abounds rejecting in grave ignorance the One Foundation, so Precious and Permanently the First and Foremost Corner Stone of Truth for Eternity.
Thank you once again for posting that which you have been inspired and moved to share, it is a blessing that never ceases to remind me of Humility and True Reverence towards the Lord, in precious moments of quiet reflection.
Praise the Living Lord, towards Whom all Glory and Honor are rightly owed.
