Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35
For the longest time this verse did not always make complete sense to me. I understood it, but it always seemed incomplete in its meaning.
So just recently I was reading this verse,
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Mathew 13:30
That time is NOW. Jesus tells the disciples let them grow together UNTIL the harvest.
The harvest is ready. “…now is the day of salvation.” (2 Cor. 6:2)
He is gathering NOW. He is setting His people apart NOW.
The LORD sees a thousand years as one day. 2 Pet 3:8 So NOW is today, though we see it as a thousand years, but for Him it is today.
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psalm 90:4
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8
